Date range filter allows entry of invalid dates #580

The date range filtering allows entry of end dates that before the start dates. 
 For example it allows, a start of 1/30/11 and end date of 1/1/11.  It also 
allows entry of any sort of numeric strings regardless of whether it is a valid 
date.
