[FEATURE REQUEST] Close project! #145

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What Plugin does this relate to? What version of the Plugin?
Project

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a project
2. Click with mouse's right button
3. No 'close' option avaiable

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A 'close' option should appear, making it possible to close a project,
avoiding editions by mistake. The closed project should still be listed as
non-editable until it is "opened" again.

What version of Editra are you using? On what operating system?
5.x

Please provide any additional information below.
This feature would be pretty much as the 'close project' in the Eclipse IDE.

Hi,

I don't really understand the purpose or benefit of such a feature.

Why cant you just contract the folder and not edit the files in it if you don't
want
to edit the files in it??

Is there something more to this feature? (sorry I will not install eclipse on my
machine to find out).

I will need more convincing to the benefits of this feature before considering
it.

The files-tree in projects has no color. So, is very easy to mistankenly edit a
project's file you don't want if it has the same name of another project's file.
There could be even some kind of sorting in the projects panel. Like, open
projects
comes before closed projects. It would be really helpful.
