This has been fixed in the latest revision.
You can use the Python sources if you install
[http://python.org/ftp/python/2.5.2/
python-2.5.2.msi Python 2.5] and the [http://pyserial.sourceforge.net/
pyserial]
extension. Then do a svn checkout and you should be good to go.
Why are the windows builds slacking behind? Building the Windows executable
requires
XP, I only have Vista running at home meaning I have to get it done at work.

I'm also running vista. When I export as detailed above, the program closes
after
selecting the fomat type without actually exporting.

yes, because you are not running the latest revision from the svn.
I will upload a new windows build later today.
