Mac Os X Version crashes on open #191

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Barely opening it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The application quit unexpectedly

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using r575 on Mac Os 10.6.3

Please provide any additional information like screenshot and log.txt
below.

I'm getting kind of the same, Mac OSX 10.6.7
Downloaded the latest release (r575) but when I try and start it I get the icon 
in the dock for a second and then it shuts down.

I'm using 10.6.7 and when I open it up, it tells me it might not work with my 
version of OSX.
