The XIG has a number of features that are good for prototyping, but each uses
additional resources and could cause unwanted operations during production use
(for a single-purpose, non-shared system).
For example, help files, data sample connections to iDigi, time service, quit,
and UDP are all services that some users have requested to be turned off.
Currently this is possible for some services in the configuration file, but the
settings should be made more easily available to users via iDigi and the local
software HTTP interface.
Ideally users would be presented with a list of services, including help, that
could be switched on or off with checkboxes.
