For newhaven-orange:
Got service warning at 11 am ET Dec 31 that there had been no messages at ear for more than an hour.
atn was able to get to rabbit host, but was awaiting peer.
journalctl -f -u gwspaceheat on newhaven-orange showed the service restarting every ~13 seconds, eg
Dec 31 17:29:10 newhaven-orange1 systemd[1]: Started GridWorks spaceheat service
[... attached log ...]
Dec 31 17:29:23 newhaven-orange1 systemd[1]: Started GridWorks spaceheat service.
Two things:
1) Internet appeared to be fine, as did the broker
2) More importantly, if the comms are down the SCADA needs to stay alive and run home alone
