It may be desirable to create spring startup files with variable names that conform to ISO standards.
Note that the existing documentation would be heavily impacted by such a change. While some of the impact could be handled by global replacements, the existing names appear in many (if not most) screenshots as well as widely referenced graphics like the force-deflection charts used to describe variable names.
