In the subject sample mapping file an user can define placeholder words like "SAMPLETYPE" These will be replaced by the value in the SAMPLETYPE column. This feature is not represented in the tree. The tree is

@OlafMeuwese What is the exact behaviour of transmart-batch here? Replacement does happen for ATTR1 and ATTR2.

Btw, this is the wrong repository, but we should probably clean that up.
