Siglo not working on Pinephone? #109

  1. Tried flatpak.

    • installs fine
    • opens but cannot find my Pinetime
    • uninstalled to try compiling it or maybe i'm "doing it wrong"
  2. Compiled it using instructions from the github repo

    • siglo can open but cannot connect to my phone
    • i also don't even really know what steps I should be doing.
    • i tried mashing "try again" button alot. i tried turning the bluetooth off and on for my phone and pinetime. i tried connecting through pinephone bluetooth.
    • if i connect pinephone to pinetime it shows bluetooth connection on pinetime but it doesn't last.

Ok I think the app works (?)

Is this app supposed to make Pinephone get notifications for Pinetime? Is this app only for updating firmware?

It doesn't seem to keep Pinephone and Pinetime paired. It loses connection almost immediately after pairing and connecting.

From the main page: GTK app to sync InfiniTime watch with PinePhone

I'm a bit confused about the purpose of this app and what its capabilities are. I think this is sort of mentioned in this issue https://github.com/alexr4535/siglo/issues/106

I'm looking for an app sort of like GadgetBridge or at least a slim version of it.

Yeah siglo really just updates firmware and syncs the time at this point. I am working on more functionality to keep it paired.
