I can't pick up the guns! #161

i was using Zandronium on my mac and using the real guns hardcore mod and a 
different custom wad which it is fun but as i play it and i had to drop my gun 
to swap a different gun but as i walk toward it i can't pick up a different 
gun! is this a glitch? or a bug? or do you only use doom and doom 2?
