Putting the game in RAM disk, using GameBooster 3 and running latest Skulltag
Alpha (both server AND client) fixes the problem for me. RGH may just have
higher memory requirements than other FPS games. Since everybody's system is
different, this is not a n upstream issue, IMO.

Very well, I'm closing this (primarily because there is nothing I can do about
the sprite-loading induced lag).
