Drag & Drop fails in IE (7,8)

I faced with problem that you perfect calendar fails in IE when item
dragging it happens only in IE on your site.
If you will fix it please notify me, I’m working around this problem and
trying to fix it by myself

hello,
I got the same problem with IE8, and if I comment the same section as 
pinkerster, I 
still got the issue after some event drag&drop.
Then, some calendar functionalities appear not to work any more:
- I can't move any event
- some of my extra calendar buttons do not respond ...
I hope this could be fixed, this calendar is a real good job, and it is the 
only 
issue that impides me from using it on the site...

I think this is now fixed. The problem is a strange timing issue in IE and 
while I
don't completely understand the reason for the problem in IE, increasing the 
timeout
for the deletion of the element fixes the issue for me. 

If you plan to implement this fix locally it's worth noting that i've modified 
some
surrounding code as it was not necessary for it to be in the setTimeout(...) and
resulting in a noticable lag when evaluating the layout of overlapping events.

You can see this change in svn and it will be in the next release.
