I opened this issue because @demiculus suggested to remove the "apply to be a researcher" button and instead put the telegram button. If there is a big button and other small buttons elsewhere, people will only click the small buttons. So the big button is the mailing list, I guess 80% will not see the telegram button.

Suggestion: There is only 1 button that says "Subscribe to get weekly research updates"

When people click, we can give them a pop-up option that says:

Choose your method of subscription:

• Mail
• Telegram
• Twitter

etc.

Or we can direct them to instructions that say

1. Subscribe to our mailing list
2. Join our Telegram channel
3. Follow our Twitter account

The second one seems like a better option. I like the 1 button only approach
