Cancelled Trips #40

Which platform is this for?: Command Centre

What problem is this feature or improvement solving?: Currently on Command Center if there is a loop trip with only one commuter in it and that commuter cancels the trip, it disappears completely off of Command Center. If this is a late cancelation, the driver still needs to get paid; however with the automation of the Driver Payment sheet if such trips drop off Command Center completely, the drivers will not get paid.

Please describe the feature you want and how you see it working.: When commuters cancel trips (if it was a loop) can we have have a feature on Command Center where all canceled trips go under. Just like we have "past trips", "active trips" etc. Are well able to have a "late cancellations" optiion?

Please rate the urgency of this feature request/improvement:: Should have, for effective use of the platform.

What positive impact will having this feature have to LULA and our users?: It will ensure that all drivers are paid correctly when the DPS is automated and that clients are also billed accurately.

This feature is needed however is dependent on the business rule outlined in the Cancellation policy which is currently in planning on the Product End.

Based on policy we can determine based on when these cancellations happen in relation to the trip start time, whether/what the driver is paid and the client is billed. This will determine the status of the trip needed to be. Currently, these trips have no status applied as all bookings are cancelled and therefore are nowhere to be found in the system after cancellation.

@Arsene Mwenze Please keep track of this feature request and raise any concerns once the cancellation policy and improvements are live. This should be part of the cancellation policy and I raised this feature request as part of the cancellation discussion.
