Installation problem #17

Hi, thank you for the creation of this plugin and in general for improving free software. So I followed the procedure to install the plugin (I'm on linux), I changed the permissions with the chmod command and copied in the plugins folder. Unfortunately the "Startrail" menu is not displayed in the file menu (nor any other menu). I restarted GIMP several times without success.... What can I do to solve this problem thanks in advance Alex

Hi, I had the same issue. It seems to me that depending on how GIMP was installed, there might be the wrong python version bundled.

I had success with the latest official Flatpak version, which was 2.10.38 at the time of writing. (using Ubuntu 22.04)
