3 years ago @manishram sorry I was out of GitHub. Basically the idea is of the platform where people can put forward the ideas for new/ existing open-source project. It is then funded by other people with TNB currency. People who already have TNB currency will fund the project if they like. The receiver of the donation then starts the project and uses the fund raised to incentivise the developers of the project (Just like in TNB currency project where currency is given for solving issues).
Scenario: Lets call the app OPENKICK Now person A comes up with the idea of developing a tool. Lets call it TOOL1 Then A posts the idea in the app OPENKICK along with the work they have done. Suppose people who already have TNB currency like the idea. then they fund the idea with their currency because development of TOOL1 will be beneficial for them also. Now person A has the money and starts working on the project. Incentivise other developers for solving issues (bigfix or feature addition) by placing a value on each issue. Which makes the development of the project faster and more efficient.
In this manner TNB currency can reach more open-source developers.
The idea is similar to what TNB is doing right now here. But instead of using github issues as platform we can provide a platform accessible for any one and instead of project being funded centrally it can be crowd funded. Hope I was clear. I know the idea is difficult to understand but it will help TNB currency to reach more people.

3 years ago @manishram hello there.... I have become busy for my exams which were cancelled due to covid and are happening next month. SO, I am not able to give time currently. For now I would like to move to idea only or inactive. Its okay if someone else picks up the idea. Or I will continue once I am free. Thank you !

3 years ago Make sure to update your applications as well. We don't get paid by coin request anymore it's a flat rate each fee. 19600 a week to be exact

Kickstarter/Fundraiser for Open Source Projects. How TNB has implemented the reward system for the development of the payment system is quite impressive and I think It could be done with other open-source projects also. The currency for such Kickstarter can be TNB coins (points).

There might be many fraud or scams requesting the coins. For this, milestones could be set and only then fund would be transferred to the opensource project owner. Other check mechanisms could also be established.
