so i think the idea is that many instruments all have similar parameters. So it would be cool to be able to map for example Reverb Send to a midi CC, and that param will now be mapped even when you switch instruments.
needs thought on how to set this up. Currently, CC mappings persist in the instrument, but here we're talking about making them more user-owned. So do you set this up in your user menu? Or maybe CC mappings shouldn't persist in the instrument. For the moment it's even a bit confusing, so maybe that's the way to go.
