Entering from spec using F11 for the first time and trying to change to desired ship is delayed #13

Some people, myself included, enter the game via F11. This automatically puts you into a Warbird. Then trying trying to ship change into the ship you want is delayed because HS thinks the Spec->Warbird was a shipchange.

This really shouldn't have a reship limit on it. Just adds extra time to joining the game when first entering zone if you don't want to use your default ship.

What do you mean? When you are entering for the first time you can just do esc+# to get in any ship of your choice.

That's not the only way to enter from spec. I always use F11 out of habit and it puts me in Warbird by default

Edited issue to clarify.

Maybe you should just learn you use the Esc # command? I didnt even know you could enter a ship via F11.

Eh, would be a simple fix and problem is solved for everyone.

Didn't know you could, either. Changing from spec to anything is a shipchange should stay, otherwise you'll also feel obliged to make the opposite (ship->spec) "not a shipchange", at which point you will have successfully created a way to shipchange instantly: enter into ship you want, spec, repeat.

I think the downside of that is possibly losing your place on the team your on.

I was talking about the first unspec of your session/after being in spec for a certain length of time.

Honestly I don't think this is worth bothering with. If you ever happen to have excessive amounts of free time and absolutely nothing to do, go ahead. But I don't think there's anyone other than you who use F11 to enter, and even that elite group (lol) can wait a couple seconds to sc.

Then again, the 'fix' is also a 5 second thing to do. So meh. Just don't expect me to recompile for it unless you pack it with something more important :P

Yeah it's definitely priority-low though if not wontfix. If I'm ever in the area I'll check it out.
