Okay, used pandoc to convert the md to rst properly.

I think we can keep the badges here until we make a release? There's no harm in having an invalid tag for the time being. Also rst seems to prefer the reference syntax? The converter changed the inline markdown into a reference rst syntax automatically.

Also it's hard to have two conda projects from one repo. The tags never say the package name.
