For coverage and unit tests, we should not use cardboardlint, but rather we should run the nosetest/codecov script directly within our Travis/buildkite scripts. This keeps the linter simpler.
We have some working examples already: derivcheck, python-cython-ci-example and iodata. @FarnazH is adding it to gbasis.
