Looking at the following CIBSE guide, it looks like in the UK condenser water is commonly abbreviated: CDW, with CW referring to cold water and CHW referring to chilled water.

I understand that in the US it is more commonly abbreviated as per your comments above, @chilger, correct?
RitaLav, Can you give the definition of "cold water"? What temperature or used of water is consider "cold water"? Yes, the US uses CW for Condenser Water.
CW is more commonly used for condenser water.
These abbreviations should be changed: CDWP pump - condenser water pump LTCDWP pump - low temperature condenser water pump CDWV valve - condenser water valve
This one is correct: HTCWP pump - high temperature condenser water pump
