I love this curated collection! Would you consider adding examples of open data from publishers around the world, which illustrate how the tools and guidance in your curated collection have been practically used?

CoreTrustSeal (https://www.coretrustseal.org/), a certification for data repositories, has a list with write up on over 100 data repositories around the world. Maybe a link to it would be an easier approach for a maintenance stand point.

@wdangersmith great to hear you like this! We were going to write our own guide but then realised that all the good advice is out there, it's just about putting it in one place. So hopefully it's helpful to people.

I like your idea of good examples from others as a section. Much like the other open issue, we'll have to find some time/budget to do a v1.1 and what to add. So I'll leave this open and hopefully we address it properly then. In the meantime, feel free to fork and adapt the repo as you see fit :-)
