If the forum under the discussion tab is to be developed and maintained as a part of the ODC app, it’s going to swallow a lot of work and yet will always be sub-par compared to existing third-party apps. How about using Discourse for the discussion? It would also be a great communication channel for the development of the ODC web app itself.

+1 the Open Knowledge Discourse forum is great and I'm hoping ODI will do something similar and not just limited to Open Data Certificates but covering other topics like Open Data Pathway, etc.

ODI Queensland are now seriously considering Discourse after feedback from our members.

Could the "Ask for help with this question" link be localised?
Are there other ODI plans for Discussion forums (certificate specific or more broadly) that should be considered?

ODI Queensland now have a Discourse forum for certificates in preparation for the Australian localisation. https://ask.theodi.org.au/c/projects/certificates

It seems Juvia that is used for the discussion forum is now an unmaintained project - adding weight to move to another solution.
