Alegreya Sans is showing as italic when it should show as normal

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Weights 400, 500, 800
2. This can be seen on google font alegreya page
3. http://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Alegreya+Sans

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output should be normal rendering not italic.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
