I updated the branch to resolve the open comments here:

I believe I have the process correct that as Author I can agree to the changes and approve the PR for merging, then put on my Editor hat and do the merge to save @bproffitt the step. I'm going ahead with that, and if I get it wrong please forgive me in advance, and feel free to reverse or fix my edits. Just moving things forward, even if I stumble a bit. :)
