Hey ! Thanks for the report, do you have more details on which files fail and in which conditions ? Maybe if you have example files that fail to take capture although they work well I could find the problem ?

Thanks for the info ! Would you have a video or video clip that you could upload here or on retransfer for example, such that I can investigate with the ffmpeg decoding ?

Hi sorry for late reply, was not on location. The earliest i can recheck or assist minimum is after 2 weeks. Anyhow, you may also want to check/cross check with vidupe, as i believe, the program are having similar interface/programming.

  1. It can recognized non roman/English alphabet.
  2. only a few error found for fail to capture thumbnail/capture screen black. Was using latest ffmpeg (n5.0) download from github.

Hope the above can give you some idea/comparison.

No problem give details as you can, it's great that you already gave so much !

Oh are you saying that Vidupe doesn't have the problem of #74 and has less black screen errors ? Maybe it is indeed the different ffmpeg version. To be sure I'd need to see the problematic video files, if you could upload one example at least that'd be perfect.
