Me too. The git in openpyxl hasn't seen any update in 9 years. What am I missing? Otoh https://pypi.org/project/openpyxl/#history is fairly recent. Probably https://foss.heptapod.net/openpyxl/openpyxlis more recent
In my case it's used in pandas to read Excel
