Saved Searches #709

Open DarrenPIngram opened 3 years ago

It would be nice if one could "save searches" to NZBHydra2, so that any custom searches can be easily recalled/ran upon demand, rather than the current situation of "reconfiguring" a search when needed.

Thank you for any consideration.

You can use the history (either the one next to the search box or the one in the history tab) and you can save the URLs as bookmark.

But you want to save search and make it selectable somewhere? I could extend the dropdown history to also provide access to the saved searches.

Certainly if you could make a separate section for saved searches, even if it appears as a "tab" within the history (?pinned to the top?) and the ability within search results to subsequently "save" it that would be the optimal situation. Its own column would be even better, but either would work well.

Using the regular history would mean that the searches start to disappear down the list (and presumably disappear) in due course.

I had not considered saving URLs as bookmarks. That could be the "last resort" option I guess.

Thank you for your consideration.

I would like to up vote this. Super useful. Pin or bookmark a search term and category that will stay as long as you would like. Also the ability to exclude that term from the history dropdown.
