The hedge on the edge of the green space on Blackthorn Road opposite 20 Blackthorn Road is long overdue for cutting back to the height of the rest of the hedging in that area. In defence of the gardener he states that he has tried to contact the tenants at number 20 to move their parked cars to give him access. Ur they have failed to do so. Can you please agree a date or dates with the gardener to do the work and then contact the tenants and landlord to get the cars moved on those dates so that the work can be carried out. This is also a security issue as the height of the hedge obscures part of Blackthorn Road from the estate CCTV. ![Uploading IMG_3750.jpeg…]()

We have contacted the property owner and asked that the vehicle is removed, we have notified the the gardening team and have asked that this is attended to asap.

It is gardening day at The Parks tomorrow Thursday and 13 days since your last reply regarding the uncut hedge outside and opposite 20 Blackthorn Road.

It will be too wet to cut the grass but not too wet to cut the hedge.

I have seen no evidence that this matter is being progressed.

Can you confirm please that the gardener has contacted the tenants at 20 Blackthorn Road and if not when this is going to happen?

In truth there is space enough by the side of the cars to access the hedge and there is open access from the grassed area for the top of the hedge.

Including your request to the gardener the gardener has been asked three times to carry out this work which is part of the routine garden maintenance of this estate and nothing has happened for reasons best known to himself.

This remains a security hazard/blind spot from the CCTV cameras and represents routine garden maintenance that has not been carried out for months.

Kindly please advise when this work will be carried out.

This is now scheduled to take place tomorrow afternoon by the gardening team. The tenant has confirmed that his car will be removed to allow the gardener access. The gardener planned to attend to this sooner however the car was in the way which stopped the works from proceeding.

The side adjacent to the parked cars has been cut but the top of the hedge and the opposite side facing the grassed area has not been cut. I will send individual photos as together they make the email too big to send. Can you advise when the work will be completed please? This photo is of the top of the hedge not cut - photo taken this morning 16 February.

The side of the hedge adjacent to the parked cars has been cut but the top of the hedge and the opposite side of the hedge facing the grassed lawn area on Blackthorn Road has not been cut or trimmed.

Can you advise when this work will be carried out and completed please?

As it is gardening day at The Parks today and appears relatively dry, can you confirm that the gardeners will return to the hedge today to continue and finish the hedge cutting that was begun last week but not finished?

Wet weather in the past couple of weeks has prevented the gardening team from completing the cutting and trimming of the hedge opposite 20 Blackthorn Road.

Tomorrow, Thursday gardening day at The Parks is forecast to be dry.

Could you confirm please that the gardening team will complete this work by cutting the top and side facing the green space on Blackthorn Road? They have already cut the side adjacent to the parked cars.

I am sorry to keep raising this but if I dont it is likely that the work will be forgotten so if you could confirm that it will be completed tomorrow I would be grateful.

It is 12 noon. I can see no sign of the gardeners or that any gardening work has been done and certainly the hedge cutting had not started a few minutes ago when I checked. Can you confirm that the gardeners are on site and that the hedge cutting will be completed today please?

The gardeners did advise that they would be attending to this on Thursday and did not state a time, they may have attended to this in the afternoon. I will follow this up with the gardeners.
