Quest not working (Caster's Crux) #126

The quest "Caster's Crux" won't complete. I have clicked the "Repair Profile" button, and it did not help. I also compleatly restarted with a diffrent world.

Started playing few days ago, didnt have any problems. Have you added any extra mods perhaps?

No I haven't, at the very least all I really want is a way to complete the quest, a command mabey, I really am not in the know as go how professional packs work, I've only mashed a bunch together

Ive now had few problems with 2 different quest progress, but its resolved by just going back to game menu and loading the save again and it triggers the quest progress (make sure you have required items in inventory). Dont know what is the reason though, havent checked the logs when it happens, been lazy, cause its resolved just by saving/loading.

You should try reloading first with required items in inventory (full manaorb, empty needle and full needle) to try trigger advancement. Check in Advancements (default key L) window, what might be missing, hover over the "Caster's Crux" icon. After those, then try forcing it with command.

You can use the "/advancement" command to force it, but I dont know if there will be any future problems. Also make backups before this!! I think the "Caster's Crux" quest is to make the full manaorb, empty needle and full needle. The command should be something like (I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY!): /advancement grant [PLAYERNAME] heavens:bookchap2/4needles

Thanks for the help, I have taken heed of your words of warning, and tested your advice, it unfortunately didn't help, I had to resort to the "/advancement" command route, and I have had no need of the backup so far, I once again thankyou for your help in assisting me, I'm very grateful, and I hope you have a good day.
