After spending some time in the nether AFK at my gold/xp farm (one set up above the nether roof) I noticed a rapid increase in the entity count realizing it is the hell sprouts which seem to spawn regardless of the number of entitys I eventual ran /kill @e[type=mysticalworld:entity_hell_sprout] which killed over 800 hell sprouts.
