Elven Gateway Eating Lexica Botania #50

Throwing the unupgraded Lexica Botania - either the standalone book or the Akashic Tome - into the Elven Gateway seems to result in it briefly turning into the upgraded version, and then the upgraded version immediately being devoured by the portal. Glad I had a backup, or I would have lost my entire Akashic Tome...

I noticed this shortly after upgrading to 0.9.5; I haven't tried it in 0.9.4.

I can confirm that this happened to me too. Throwing a standard (non-Akashic) Lexica into the portal would reliably result in it being eaten shortly after converting, but I found that standing on the opposite side of the portal and throwing the tome in did work as expected. No idea why the process seems to be orientation-sensitive.

It's probably an issue with the item physics mod. The most consistent way to avoid this I've found is to stand inside the portal so you pick up the item immediately after it gets traded.

One of the players on my 0.10.0 server threw an Akashic Lexica Botanica into the Elven Gateway and received back a non-Akashic upgraded Lexica, losing all of the other books in his Akashic in the process, including a full set of Astral Sorcery constellation papers.
