Magic in this pack is broken. And I dont mean OP broken, but its useless broken.

I started not long ago. I made my first spell wand, a fire projectile. I went into the first dungeon, full of Ancient Golems. The fire projectile did no damage. So I figured "well they are made out of stone and i cant set any blocks in here on fire". So I made another wand, scream (didnt have any mats for shatter or frost etc). So I tried it on the mobs and it did a WHOPPING 1 heart of damage. and I had to get fairly close, even using projectile. btw mobs have 20 hearts. The stonelings also take like 5 hits to kill minimum.

Since I learned my lesson and knew narrow lava pits are in the dungeon I made a telekinesis self tageting wand. I right clicked with it, fell into the lava. I held right click, draining my mana over time and I still fell into the lava. I testes it standing ona block, using it then walking off. ITS NOT LEVITATING ANYTHING.

so yeah. neat concept but its simply broken af.

The spells are introduced at a weird spot I find. There's not much you can do at the point it is introduced. The light spell is the only one I did, since it is useful to basically shoot torches (before the torches arrow from the Aether anyways) and they're quite pretty. Down the line though, when you can put more effects on the spells, I found some interesting combos that could be very strong, but I do miss the material to create them.
