Did you try both automatic and manual install?
Did you ever try to import the SQL manually to the database trough EG. phpMyAdmin? And try manually after that?
I know this might sound like a silly question, but did you enter all of the database information during the configuration step?

ignore that i managed to fix it, however upon installation it redirects me to a page that says this https://i.imgur.com/h5aOoPH.png
Try running composer install from a terminal in that directory. If you don't have composer, install it first at getcomposer.org

I have installed composer to my understanding (going to my cmd redirecting to D:\Desktop\452\PHP-Login-master\login\misc then putting composer install into the cmd then yh) is that it if so I have done that and it still doesn't work
Do I need to goto login/index.php or can i just go from index.php without going to login.
I have a similar failure on Ubuntu 18.04 and 16.04, both auto and manual. I can say that the SQL fails (at least the first time) at:
mysql> CREATE TABLE `member_info` (
-> `userid` char(23) NOT NULL,
-> `firstname` varchar(45) NOT NULL,
-> `lastname` varchar(55) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `phone` varchar(20) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `address1` varchar(45) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `address2` varchar(45) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `city` varchar(45) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `state` varchar(30) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `country` varchar(45) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `bio` varchar(20000) DEFAULT NULL,
-> `userimage` varchar(255) DEFAULT NULL,
-> UNIQUE KEY `userid_UNIQUE` (`userid`),
-> KEY `fk_userid_idx` (`userid`),
-> CONSTRAINT `fk_userid` FOREIGN KEY (`userid`) REFERENCES `members` (`id`) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE NO ACTION
-> ) ENGINE=InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8;
ERROR 1022 (23000): Can't write; duplicate key in table 'member_info'
mysql>
Any idea?
@falconapps is there already data in that table? That error would happen if you have an existing table with duplicate values in the userid
field.
I was trying the manual after a botched auto install. I've rolled out a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 and tried manual only - seems okay, although with some strange errors in the SQL which seemed like tab/space/whitespace. Anyway, sorted and all good - thanks!
Yeah, I discovered a weird whitespace-related bug the other day that I patched. I wonder if that's related to your issue?

I think so. I've scripted most of this so I'll try again with Ubuntu 18.04 today - auto and if that fails manual - I have the feeling I'll have to tweak the SQL again, maybe. If so I'll come back with details. I'm wanting to upgrade from an older version of PHP-Login, and really want to upgrade PHP-Login to Bootstrap 4 as the rest of my older site is Bootstrap 4 - am I biting off more than I can chew?
Hello I have managed to figure out other issues but i am currently facing this issue upon trying to install the website. Link to what it says on install.php
