Support comments on reviews #17

Reviews can be read by anyone, but comments from anyone are not always welcome. Being able to use the site directly without Facebook/Twitter/Google loaded remains a requirement (otherwise pen names are just a vanity plate), but people want to be able to comment.

When you share a review on a social net, it should be possible to post a comment via that social net, using the native social connection semantics. For example if I share a review on Facebook, and one of my Facebook friends sees my review, they should be able to easily comment via Facebook. Ditto for Google+. Twitter semantics are a bit different but analogous. Email is difficult from a trust perspective because even if your friend knows your pen name and email address, you might not be comfortable with the site holding that information from them.

Embedded comments via Disqus or blogger http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2013/04/blogger-comments-powered-by-google.html are another option but this begins to put the site in competition with established social networks rather than a specialized value-added network. Would like to explore the native post-through first.

Posting through to FB/G+ is effectively impossible, so returning to allowing comments within the site. Was hoping that marking a review as "Helpful", remembering a review, and/or writing a corresponding review would be adequate to address most interactions. It is, but people want to be able to ask a question or comment on a review, and that needs to happen reasonably safely. Thinking of adding query and comment buttons something like this:

Sample layout:

          Query Comment

Talvin Singh, Nina Simone, Adrian Belew, Afrika Bambaataa,
