Finale sign-in #17

If the user is not logged in when they hit the finale, prompt to see if they want to create an account at that point to track their progress. If they are logged in, provide a star rating so they can rate the timeline. Considered allowing comments for the rating, but far better to provide share buttons and let people write the comments on their own social media or email.

Another way to deal with setting up an account would be to prompt for a name (for the honor roll) and an email address (for your unique completion certificate). The name is required for display, the email is required for unique identification (not shared, used only by PastKey). With both pieces of information, the account can just be created automatically with a random password. If they keep the cookie, then they are good to go. If they need to log in again manually, then they can have their password emailed to them. Then change it if they want.

Star ratings for timelines are overkill. You either think it's good enough to share or not. And the way you indicate that is by sharing it. Not seeing a need for anything other than the share buttons. Keep it simple so people know what to do. We want sharing.

Not doing a separate form for account creation. That's confusing and doesn't allow for opt-in on notices or similar things that are best handled with a single account sign up flow. Added a "Save Timeline Completion" link to open up the account signup. Whatever name they enter is reflected in the honor roll, and if they change their account name after that will be reflected also. That pretty much takes care of it.
