If you are creating a point, then the network goes down, then you try save, the button is disabled "Saving" but never times out. So even if the network comes back, you can't click the save button again. Disabling the button to avoid duplicate save attempts makes sense, but some kind of a timeout that triggers an alert and reconstitutes the save button would save having to enter all that information again.
