Thank you for the response!

After careful consideration, our team decided to reject this issue as a bug because from the user’s point of view, a user should not be accessing any files other than the application.

Reason for disagreement: Not convincing. This program is made for programmers. It should be expected that we can modify the json file and see the valid output. Otherwise what is the preferences.json file for?
