The Arch package has this as an optional depend.

Would you consider updating README with what it does, and the use cases for it?

The Arch package

There isn't an Arch package but an AUR pkgbuild, saying implies that is maintained by Arch packagers which isn't the case

has this as an optional depend.

It wasn't an optional dependency; it was mandatory for a while, now is bundled

For things about AUR please don't ask upstream but to the AUR maintainer; which is me
