What's the difference between this error and Redemption code has been claimed already.?

This error is thrown when you try to claim another gift code from intel/alienware/etc promotion (claimed intel and then try to claim another from alienware). For example HB6FK86CMGJM, this one is from intel, but I claimed an alienware code already, so when I try to redeem it, it throws that error.
