As agreed at our last status update, we are not sure about having "automated UI tests". So far the tests are for the API and seems to be working under the assumption there is no user logged in. So the tests can't create or modify existing records, but can retrieve existing records. These tests were done before the auto-generated DEV environment user concept existed, so as a future task for 3.0 I might be able to test create and updating records using that auto generated dev user.
