I realize it might seem a little bit out-of-order, considering that (#11) the font name is slated to change, but even for the time being, it would be helpful to customize the README file to remove the general-boilerplate material at the beginning and put in reflect the current name. You can always note at the top that it is not a permanent name (and/or also link to the issue). Doing that will be helpful for external parties taking a look.
At the same time, it would also be good to put in a demo image or two at the top of the README. Here also, the design is still evolving, but the images in the header of README can also change as often as you like.
