When viewing the output from the conversion in the kicad PCB viewer the following error pops up when clicking anywhere on the PCB.
The vias also go a strange colour and create errors. This is due to their drill dimension being larger than their diameter dimension.

The board in question that was being converted was the Nordic Semiconductor Thingy:91 altium files available here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Software-and-tools/Prototyping-platforms/Nordic-Thingy-91/Download#infotabs
All issues occurred on the latest version of the software. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
