Need to investigate this one further - see aladin image on ATLAS pages: https://star.pst.qub.ac.uk/sne/atlas4/candidate/1080007071584235200/

These are the nearby NED results - you see the 2MASS galaxy and the SBS 0755+588 galaxy pair are the same source: https://ned.ipac.caltech.edu/cgi-bin/objsearch?search_type=Near+Position+Search&in_csys=Equatorial&in_equinox=J2000.0&radius=2.0&hconst=73&omegam=0.27&omegav=0.73&corr_z=1&z_constraint=Unconstrained&z_value1=&z_value2=&z_unit=z&ot_include=ANY&nmp_op=ANY&out_csys=Equatorial&out_equinox=J2000.0&obj_sort=Distance+to+search+center&of=pre_text&zv_breaker=30000.0&list_limit=5&img_stamp=YES&lon=120.029825529412d&lat=58.7097297647059d

Currently galaxy pairs only get added as an 'annotation' if no other matches are found.

The SBS0755+588 galaxy in included in the LASR galaxy catalogue. The transient now gets a correct redshift/distance measurement associated.
