When playing on android devices 1080p 60fps causes a lot of stuttering and glitching compared to the standard remote play app. It would be good to know what the recommended processor & RAM specs are for Android devices in order for this to function correctly.

Recommended Android specs based on your experience. I know you can’t test everything but if you have a setup that works well then it could be used as a baseline.

720p 60 seems to work well on all devices i have tried even at the highest bitrates. Image compression and colour appears vastly superior to the standard sony Remote Play app but the resolution drop to 720p is noticeable on better screens.
