Ledger Nano X not connecting to Theta web wallet in Chrome #47

Just a few days ago I was able to connect to the web wallet but today I can't. I'm not sure if this has to do with any Google Chrome updates.

Chrome: Version 91.0.4472.101 (Official Build) (x86_64)

I tried in Firefox and it did work, but I've been using it in Chrome up to this point.

No solutions after 2 years?? I'm having a similar/same problem with connecting a Ledger Nano S to a USB port using Theta web wallet on an updated Linux Mint laptop. I can connect to it on the same laptop using Ledger Live, but Theta web wallet doesn't see it. I'm using updated version of Brave. Any Ideas?

I'm not using Linux. I'm using MacOS, but I was able to connect to the web wallet with my Ledger Nano X. This is with all of the newer updates.

Not sure about the Ledger Nano S.

I don't hold Theta anymore, but my wallet does have some TFuel still in the wallet.

I'm transitioning from Windows to Linux platform. I had no problem before connecting and seeing my assets(using ThetaWallet and MEW) on my Ledger NanoS when using Windows. It just worked. Something going on with Linux USB ports.. They aren't as robust "out of the box" as with Windows. I've spent hours trying all the online help. The only thing I've seen work (besides LegerLive software which does not support Theta), is to connect the Nano to a USB port, log into it, then restart Linux. When Linux comes back up I can successfully use ThetaWallet and MEW to see assets. As soon as I unplug the Nano and re-plug it in.. it no longer works. I know very little about Linux, but these kind of observations should point at the cause of the problem. I'm using Mint-Victoria all updated, and my nanoS(more than one) has latest firmware and latest app versions. I tried installing "Ledger-wallets-udev" ver0.3 located in Software Manager. It also had no effect - same issue. Error: Failed to execute 'open' on 'USBDevice': Access denied. Probably a simple solution.... I just don't know what it is.

I also tried: wget -q -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/LedgerHQ/udev-rules/master/add_udev_rules.sh | sudo bash No change...
