Cricut Personal #17

I see the original fork was from Freecut, which was for the Cricut Personal with the AtMega128...

I just just managed to push Freecut on to my old Cricut Personal, I thought I would post an issue here just to check if anyone else has looked at adding back in Cricut Personal support to a thetazzbot fork... HPGL and GCODE support look great...

There was code for the personal but it conflicted so i rolled it back. Its the dials and lcd that are way different. I don't have a personal one so i cant help yet.

What changes would be necessary as a starting point to port this back to the cricut personal? Just got my hands on one, and want good firmware for it.

This is a task I have been sort of working toward. First thing I have been trying to address is the fact that the personal machine utilizes a different Atmega, pins are pretty much the same however the timers and their registers are different I have been referencing Freecut to address some of this, but Mark made some changed to the timer_set_stepper_speed function, which I am having a little trouble understanding, being somewhat of a programming novice. that aside like was mentioned the screens and dials maybe an issue.

If anyone is still interested in this Ive completed the task.....though I skipped anything related to the gcode. HPGL works great.
