region lock does not work #27

hello I am posting this message because the region lock update part does not seem to work, when I move to a new region I lose all the items affiliated to the previous region. Is this normal or am I misunderstanding something? thank you for your answers

Region Lock Updates [ID: 8]

Gear is tuned with local power of a region, so it is the strongest in that region and its power fades the further it gets from the region.
    For normal gear, every region away from the source region substracts 2 stars of weapon effectiveness.
    For + gear, every region away from the source region substracts 1 star of weapon effectiveness.

The regionlock update is not a removal of it, it changes he way it work to keep the same gamefeel while being less frustrating
