Wash was originally (and incorrectly) named walsh in Reaver 1.3, which is the
version in the Backtrack repos. Doing an apt-get install reaver should give you
reaver and walsh.

Well I tried "walsh" and "wash". Neither work for me. Can anyone else test it
out and install reaver with apt-get and confirm whether or not walsh is
included?
Thanks

You need to ping the backtrack repository maintainers, to get them to fix it,
if walsh/wash isn't included in their package.

I can confirm this. wash/walsh is not there in Backtrack 5 R1

Just to put this out there, I'm only wanting wash/walsh included for a tutorial
I am preparing. (http://www.skidhacker.com/tutorials)
Not out of laziness from compiling lol.
I noticed other tutorials such as the recent one on Lifehacker says to install
from apt-get, but doesn't say to scan for vulnerable AP's, only to start
attacking a WPA AP.
I will try to check with the BT5 guys, I hope I get a response.

Tried walsh and wash today and neither of them worked.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

My experience is that 'wash' works and 'walsh' doesn't on Backtrack 5R2 when I
installed with 'apt-get update | apt-get install reaver'. btw, I'm running v1.4
of Reaver.
