Import Custom Click Sound #69

Over the years I have optimized my own click sound for recording and other drumming environments. It would be perfect to have the option to import and use it as a "custom click sample" in Toc2.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I almost expected this request at some time :-).

Unfortunately there is no quick way to get a reliable solution, so at least short-term I won't be able to give such an option.

Would still be interested of what you experience to be a good click sound. Is it possible to share it?

It is... Click.zip It's a rather sharp sound, but it cuts perfectly through all kinds of playback... at least to my taste.

thanks a lot. So the pitch seems to be considerable higher, of what what already exists. Indeed, I had a look a the signal and it looks like it contains a very high underlying frequency. Can you say something about the origin of the file? I wonder, if it would make sense to remodel it, to avoid licensing issues ...

I originally recorded the click from a Roland SPD-20 to my DAW. But I did some additional frequency adjustment and gave it a tiny bit of compression to suit my needs.
